About the Programme
Join us for a night of exceptional artistry on Friday, 14th November at 6:30 PM in The Raio Room, Cape Dara Resort Pattaya. The program features Brahms’ String Quintet Op. 111 and Mendelssohn’s String Quintet Op. 87, performed by an exceptional ensemble of acclaimed musicians.
Japanese violinist Keiko Urushihara, first prize winner of the prestigious International Henryk Wieniawski Violin Competition and renowned for her solo and chamber performances worldwide.
Australian violinist Graeme Norris, director of the Pattaya Violin Centre, with a multifaceted career spanning orchestral leader, chamber musician, and soloist.
Belgian violinist Dirk Van de Velde, a founding member of the celebrated Rubio Quartet, praised especially for his recordings of Shostakovich.
Thai violist Omporn Kowintha, former Principal Second Violin of the Bangkok Symphony Orchestra and initiator of Thailand’s “Om and Friends” concert series promoting classical music locally.
German cellist Jonathan Wiegle, principal cellist of the Cologne Chamber Orchestra and frequent collaborator with major international orchestras.
